Mt. Baldy get there before all of the snow melts

Tanya and I needed to get high!
So, we climbed to the top of Mt. Baldy.
The best way to get those lungs ready before a long run or a race is to do some elevation training.
The Summit of Mt Baldy is just over 10,000 feet. Can you believe it was 80 degrees at the bottom

People still don't believe it snows in Sunny California
Almost to the summit
The skies where so clear we could see for miles

I think these are called snow cones or cups, caused

by the sun.

Grand Canyon here we come! MJ

Yes, you do have some great trails there. Have gone to the Summit of San Gorgonio on two previous occasions. We will have to go back soon.

I enjoy visiting your blog page, it's always adventurous. I live in Florida now from California and never have I seen snow. It's capturing. Thanks for sharing.

Great photos, I am amazed there is still snow there given the mild winter!

Mt. Baldy actually had more snow than I can remember in recent years. They still had skiers/ snowboarders last month.

Love the photos - snow and sun don't usually occur at the same time in the UK!
