The Hour is Near

Only a few days until I attempt to finish some unfinished business. I think that statement makes sense! But this weekend we travel back to Huntsville, Texas to run the Rocky Raccoon 100 mile endurance run. Last year I made it to mile 76 and had to call it a day. Am I upset about last year? Yes. Am I ready to take on the challenge again? Yes. Am I a little nervous? Yes. But is that going to stop me from attempting my 100 mile goals? NO WAY MAN!! I know it is a novel term "failure breeds success", but that is only true if you never quit!
Find a goal and go for it!!

See you on the trails,

Much trail Love,

Marc

Hey Marc! Thanks for visiting my blog and welcoming me to this crazy and addictive ultra world :)

My next for sure race is not until September -- Muskoka 70.3 (half Ironman - I focus on tris much of the time). I'm sure I'll add in some others though! I'm already looking at other ultra options.

Oh and I've posted my race report :) And added your blog to my blogs to follow list.

Oh and best of luck this weekend!! I can't wait to read about it.

You could definitely do a tri -- just go for it :) I'm in the Inland Inferno Tri club, and we have a number of group workouts and such in the area each week.

Just noticed you are in chiro/massage business: very cool! My boyfriend is a chiro, too :)
